This review is from: Schwinn Typhoon Women's Cruiser Bike (26-Inch Wheels) (Sports) The bike was made in China and not what you would expect from Schwinn. Also, the back wheel was warped, not from shipping, but from the manufacturer. We returned it. However,I will say that Amazon was great to work with. This review is from: Schwinn Typhoon Women's Cruiser Bike (26-Inch Wheels) (Sports) In the eight months that I've been riding it around town, hardly a day goes by when I don't receive a compliment from a local person. It rides very well, and has a safe, balanced feeling to it. My one minor complaint is that the paint chips off a little too easily. It has only one coat, that I can see. Primer would have helped. So, I've touched up the few small spots, and now try to be a little more careful where and how I park and lock it. Also, the pedals were on the small side, so I replaced them with ones that are larger, and that grip my shoes better. The original ones would have been fine for someone with small feet. I like how the handle bars are more parallel to each other, and not so splayed out. It helps me to have better control over the steering.
